Download SpyBot S&D 1.6.2 here and save it to your desktop.

• Double-click spybotsd162.exe to begin the installation.
  
• Click on Next to continue the installation.
  
  
  
  
  
  
• You will be asked to accept the license agreement.
  
• Check I accept the agreement and click Next to continue.
  
  
  
  
  
  
• Now you are asked to choose the directory where to install SpyBot. (By default it shall be C:\Program Files\SpyBot - Search & Destroy)
  
• Click on Next to continue once chosen.
  
  
  
  
  
  
• You will be prompted about the installation type.
  
• Checkmark the components you want, or leave as defaults and click Next.
  
  
  
  
  
  
• You can now choose whether you wish to set a Start Menu folder for SpyBot. (By default it will be named SpyBot - Search & Destroy)
  
• Once chosen to install a Start Menu folder or not, click on Next to continue the installation.
  
  
  
  
  
  
• Now you will be prompted about the components you wish to install.
  
• By default all of them will be checked. You should, however, recheck whether you really need TeaTimer.
  
• Once chosen, click on Next to continue.
  
  
  
  
  
  
• You will get a "Ready to Install" prompt. If you think the settings thus far are OK, click on Install.
  
  
  
  
  
  
• Installation shall begin. Wait for a moment it to finish.
  
• If you get a prompt by your firewall for SpyBot trying to connect the internet, allow tihs request.
  
  
  
  
  
  
• Once the installation has finished, you will be informed of it.
  
• UNcheck the box next to Run TeaTimer.exe if you do not wish to have SpyBot S&D realtime protection.
  
• Check the box next to Run SpyBotSD.exe and hit Finish.
