Welcome to Log'N'Rock! Please read the following terms carefully before using the site. Lognrock.com makes no representation that materials or content available through lognrock.com are appropriate or available for use outside the United States of America and access to them from territories where their contents are illegal is prohibited. You may not use lognrock.com or export the content in violation of the United States export laws and regulations. From time to time we may provide software downloads for the convenience of our members and visitors. We will not restrict or monitor access to any such software downloads.


BOARD USAGE POLICY



For purposes of this site, the term "Forum" or "Board" means a discussion group, blog, chat area, bulletin board, news group, letter or other communication to lognrock.com, or e-mail function offered as part of this Site.

You are prohibited from distributing or otherwise publishing any content containing a solicitation of funds, promotion, advertising, solicitation for goods or services, or other commercial matter. You agree not to solicit other users of a forum or this site to use or join or become members of any commercial online or offline service or other organization. Except where expressly authorized by lognrock.com, you agree not to collect or store personal data about other users.

Please remember that we are not responsible for any messages posted. We do not vouch for or warrant the accuracy, completeness or usefulness of any message, and are not responsible for the contents of any message.

The messages express the views of the author of the message, not necessarily the views of the sites’ forum. Any user who feels that a posted message is objectionable is encouraged to contact us immediately. We have the ability to remove objectionable messages and we will make every effort to do so, within our reasonable time frame, if we determine that the removal is necessary.

  • Your personal information

Length is defined by administrators of this discussion board. Please contact an administrator for more information.
    • Use good judgment Please exercise proper judgment when revealing personal information when posting messages in public forums. We strongly advise against revealing your e-mail address, telephone number or any other identifying information in a post or in your profile.   • Posting Rules
    In addition to the Terms of Use of the site, you agree to follow the following posting rules:
    • You are allowed to post in our forums either by responding to or creating a new topic. All posts are accepted at the discretion of lognrock.com.
    • Posting copyrighted material – While some web sites permit copying or reproducing their content, we strive to comply with the doctrine of "Fair Use", which allows limited use of copyrighted material without requiring permission from the rights holders. If the posting of copyrighted material exceeds the guidelines for fair use we reserve the right to edit the post to bring our web page into compliance. When reproducing copyrighted material, please do not copy/paste/quote an entire article and please provide a link to the source, if one is available.
  • Account Suspension, Banning, Restriction and Deletion
    We reserve the right at our sole discretion to restrict, suspend, or terminate a member's access to any part of our forums. If a member is found in violation of any of the rules stated in this document or any other terms of use documents, the offending messages will be removed. Any member who violates our policies and refuses to comply with the policies of these forums will be banned.
  • Moderated Content
    All areas of our site are moderated. Any and all posted content is subject to review by our moderators. If a post is moderated (edited by our staff), you may receive a private message notifying you of the change. The moderator might reference our Terms of Service to make you aware of the policy or rule that your original post violated. If you have an issue or a problem with the sites’ moderation or any specific moderator, please contact ColdinCbus. You are not allowed to discuss the forum's moderation, or any specific moderator, by posting in our public forums.
  • Reporting Offensive Content
    If you find anything offensive, please contact us by clicking the “REPORT" button (located at the bottom of each post below the post author's name). You can also contact the moderators via PM. Reporting an offensive message or post will be reviewed by the moderating team and will act within our reasonable time frame; if we determine that the removal or moderation is necessary. We strongly urge members to allow our moderating team to resolve any issues, conflicts or problems.


Prohibited Activity
  • Inappropriate Language You are not permitted to post inappropriate or offensive language, images. Nor are you permitted to post links to sites that display inappropriate images or languages in any area of this site. Please note that this includes any attempt to disguise the language using slightly altered characters or spelling.
  • Inappropriate Content You are not permitted to post content, nor send messages to other members, of a nature that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, profane, hateful, racially, ethnically or otherwise objectionable material of any kind, including, but not limited to, any material which encourages conduct that would constitute a criminal offense, violate the rights of others, or otherwise violate any applicable local, state, national or international law.
  • Harassment You are not permitted to harass or "flame" a member, product, service, group, company or organization. This includes both overt and subtle attempts to ridicule or debase an individual or group. Please note that this also includes the posting of taunts in a forum solely for the purpose of deriding that forum's topic and/or its members.
  • Inside information Please do not post leaked or private information on any topic or news item if the information is not publicly available.
  • Posting Off-topic Off-topic messages are not allowed. Please try and keep your post relevant to the topic of the thread. Off-topic items may be removed by our staff.
  • Posting Advertisement – you are not allowed to advertise a product or service without first seeking and receiving the permission of the management of this site. Including signatures.

PRIVACY POLICY



Registration

Lognrock.com collects personally identifying information only during the registration process. In addition, information is collected in certain portions of lognrock.com, in which users specifically and knowingly provides such information along with content submissions, forums or suggestions. Lognrock.com may use such information for its internal purposes, including, but not limited to, editorial and feedback purposes.

In compliance with the COPPA, lognrock.com will only accept membership registrations from users who are at least 13 years of age. By registering with lognrock.com, you represent that you are at least 13 years old. If you are under 13 years of age and still want to register a free membership account, you will need to fill-in a COPPA form which your parent or guardian will review and sign. Once received (via email or fax), we will allow your registration. Please contact us to request the COPPA form.

This board requires a valid email and active email account. You will receive a validation email from this site after registering which you will need to validate. Please DO not to sign up any email address that requires any sort of anti-spam procedure that requires this board to reply, click on a link or enter a code to validate the board's email address.

Removal from the database

Should you wish to be removed from our database, contact an admin listed on the moderating team list who will fulfill your request. Banned (a/k/a non-members) can request removal of their account from lognrock.com's database. However, that depends on the nature of the offense made. In addition, an admin will determine whether the request should be granted within a reasonable time frame and if the removal is necessary.

Lognrock.com reserves the right to make changes to our site, policies, and these terms at any time, with or without notice.

Please contact an admin listed on the moderating team list to report violations of these policies.
