got a new pc with windows 7, nothing wrong with that part. Thinking 32 or 64.
Sure you can put a lot more of ram in it, but that will only work 100 percent if the software is 64 right? So what is the point, having 64 bit? It just feels like a bad date. ;)

At the moment, there is a huge amount of software programs that are not ready for 64 bit YET anyway. Good luck with your new toy Denis.

I don't believe there is much of a lack in support for 64-bit any longer. I connected my 3-year-old printer (Kodak EasyShare 5300 All-in-One Printer) to Windows 7 64-bit and it was immediately recognized.

"The 64-bit versions of Windows can utilize more memory than 32-bit versions of Windows. This helps minimize the time spent swapping processes in and out of memory by storing more of those processes in Random access memory (RAM) rather than on the hard disk. This, in turn, can increase overall program performance."

See Taking the mystery out of 64-bit Windows and the Windows Vista Compatibility Center.

I opted for x64 with my win.7 glad i did, just a better deal all around it allows you hard and software to work closer to it max potential.
