When I am sending mail to many recipients and the message has gone into the outbox, I am unable to edit the list of headers if one of the addresses has changed. The message will not go out to anyone, but 'Direct Editing Mode' does not apply once the message has reached the outbox, and therefore I am forced to write the message and the whole list of headers again, minus the changed one. I send out mail to multiple recipients regularly, and this inability to edit the list of recipients is quite a nuisance.

'Direct Editing Mode' is only for content - NOT header.
re-open mail in editor!

from help:

Quote

Direct Edit Mode
Enables to edit the current message. You can also change the subject and date.

"message" here = content (again and only)

if you need a template write&save the message as a template.

I know the message itself can be copied and pasted - my question referred to the list of recipients, which seems to become set in stone, once the message has been sent to the outbox.
