WHAT IS IT?

It has been a long time coming, but here it is finally.

Rules:
I will begin by posting a close up image of an item and then others will continue by either guessing what the item is or asking questions.
If everybody appears to be struggling another picture of the same item can be posted until the item is guessed.
When an item is finally guessed correctly the winning member will post the following picture if possible or ask for help.

Here is the first image:

That is one of the electrodes screwed to the side of your head Jasper. I believe they are used to charge your brain up when it stops working kinda like Frankenstein. B)

Is it in one room of your house or are there ones like it all over the place?
if that is a screw in the middle, does it detach?
if it isn't a screw, is it a decorative item like a button?

Wow!!! This is taking off well, thank you.

is it a stop or a foot pad of some kind?? No.
It's the doohicky that goes on the bottom of a whatsit. Know in older times as a thingamabob. Yes.
That is definitely a phillips / pozidrive screw in the middle!!?? Yes, but it could be others quite easily.
Is it in one room of your house or are there ones like it all over the place? It is only in one room here, unfortunately.
if that is a screw in the middle, does it detach? No.
if it isn't a screw, is it a decorative item like a button? No.
a coat hanger rod mount?? No.

This can be in quite a lot of different shapes and materials etc. And I would like to think that you ALL have at least one pair of these in the house, now think. B)
