Yup - ran all the way there, and all the way back! Some memorable moments including a trip to an Indian A&E department to get my head stitched up after falling in the shower (it was only three lagers, but perhaps the painkillers I'd been taking for a torn hip muscle added to the effect....) then finding a supposedly off-road and quiet place to, well, you know what you need to do after a few lagers, and discovering that actually it was in full view of the road, but by that time too late to change my mind.....
Otherwise a fantastic trip, mainly in the Himalayas. I now need a holiday to recover.

Yes, that black stuff is indeed a cord to hang the wotsit round the neck, but you have to guess what the wotsit is....not a headset or microphone anyway.

Our holidays are usually pretty dramatic. maybe next time we should just amble round the bits of the UK that we haven't seen yet - want to join us? we could go and land on fred and jeff..........Posted Image

All I can say about this wotsit is that my hubby was given it at a conference, along with a ton of ball-point pens, notepads, mini flash drives and other forms of bribery...in the old days the pharmaceutical firms used to give free holidays in the Alps. Times change...
