HOW SMART ARE YOU?

I could not figure this one out. My first thought was wrong and I had to peek at the answer. The challenge here is to figure out what these 7 words all have in common. Look at each word very carefully & write down your answer – this is really cool. Just so that you cannot readily peek, I will post the answer later.

1. Banana 2. Dresser

3. Grammar 4. Potato

5. Revive 6. Uneven

Remove the first letter and what is left is spelled the same backwards.
