Plugin novice I'm determined to rite a plugin

I am determined to write a plugin for Becky!

But, when I download and read the SDK, my eyes glaze over. Not because I am bored, but because I do not understand a damn thing.

Now, that is because I do not know the general strategy, nor the components of a plugin. Neither do I know how to generate a ddl.

Could someone direct me to where I cna learn the priniciples of plugin creation?

If you do a google search on plugin creation you will get a lot of info on this
