Becky really is great but one thing I really miss is that it doesn't really support Alias addresses.

Nowadays most internet providers offer something like 1 mailbox with 5 alias adresses.

So if you get a mail that was sent to mysecondmail@domain.invalid Becky will answer with defaultmail@domain.invalid. I think it should be possible that Becky automatically will answer with mysecondmail@domain.invalid (maybe after having this mail-adress added to the list of alias you use).

Ok, if you have POP you can have your mails automatically filtered to a subfolder for your second mail, and you can set this folder that mails sent from there will have your second mail address as sender.

But unfortunately filtering for IMAP does not work automatically, so all my new mails end up in the Inbox and I end up answering several mails with the default mail address by mistake.

Becky always answers with the current POP/IMAP-Settings (most same as login).
so its users fault when send with wrong sender. try to filter into separate folders
and set the right address in the folder settings.

No, it's not the users fault.

Your solution works fine if you use POP3, but Mail filtering does not work automatically if you use IMAP. You always have to click on "Tools - Sort New Messages" after recieving new mail. And this solution is not very good anyway, since the mail query in Becky only searches the current folder if you use IMAP.

It would be much easier if you just had an option like "use receiptien address as sender (if it is added as identity) or something like that".
