Opening new mail during "remote mailbox" browsing

One of the best features I like about Becky was the "Remote Mailbox." And I have been using Becky since 1999.

Last night, I installed Ver. 2.56.05 of Becky onto my new desktop running Windows 7. For some reason, this new version (or perhaps this is a Windows 7 issue) does not allow me to open up an new mail while the "Remote Mailbox" is still retrieving all the email headers. I have to wait until ALL email headers have been retrieved.

Does anyone know how to fix this problem?
