Mozilla and the SeaMonkey Project developers have released version 2.1 of their "all-in-one internet application suite". SeaMonkey, formerly known as the Mozilla Application Suite, is the successor to Netscape Communicator and includes a web browser with advanced email and newsgroup support, an IRC chat client and HTML editing support.

SeaMonkey 2.1 includes a new Add-ons Manager that opens in a new browser tab file:///C:/DOCUME%7E1/Owner/LOCALS%7E1/Temp/msohtml1/01/clip_image001.gifSeamonkey 2.1 is based on the same Gecko layout engine as the 4.0 branch of Firefox. New features include the redesigned Add-ons Manager which now opens directly in the browser, support for SeaMonkey Sync (Firefox Sync), Personas, and a reworked bookmarks system.
