Backing up Windows Registry XP/2000/2003

Registry corruption is one of the major reasons for folied boot-ups.
A better solution than Reformating; and Repair Installtion and; is to backup the Registry in the first place.
Restoring a backed-up registry is sometimes better (when only a corrupt registry is the case) than a complete backup, beacuse a complete backup will restore the whole system to a previous state.
(Note: I dont not suggest you stop using your complete back-up solution afte this)

Since Windows does'nt have a way to manually backup and restore the Registry; we need to use a 3rd party tool called ERUNT (Emergency Recovery Utility NT)
