Download Avira AntiVir Personal Here and save to your Desktop.
  • Double-click on antivir_workstation_winu_en_h.exe to begin the installation.
  • Please close all other open windows during the installation.

  • Please read it, and if you agree, click Accept to continue.

  • And click Next to continue.

  • And click Next to continue again.

  • License agreement will be shown.
  • Please read it, and if you agree, check the box I accept the terms of the license agreement and click Next to continue.

  • Read the information that is there and if you accept to use it only for personal use then Check the box to accept and click Next to continue.

  • Click Next for all features to be installed or Custom to select features that you want and change destination folder.

  • Next you get the registration window fill in the info if you want to, if not uncheck the boxes and click Next.
  • Now the program will install.

  • If you want to read the readme.txt file click Next if not uncheck the box and click Finish.

  • Now you get the update now window click Yes to update the Program and Definitions.

  • After updating you are now protected.

  • This is what the main GUI window looks like when you are all done.
  • Now that you have installed Avira Antivir, you are ready to run a system scan with it! See instructions here.
